You'll never find a better
way to visit Peru than on an Adventure Retreat with
Howard, Gloria, and Diana. For 13 days, we'll travel through the Incan Empire, from
Cusco to the Sacred Valley, and every day will bring us not just
famous sights, but physical and spiritual rewards, as well.
For the body: Herbal
baths, massages, yoga/chi gong, outdoor excursions, and the best
indigenous vegetarian food to be found.
For the spirit: Guided meditation, talking circles, and authentic
Peruvian shamanic ceremonies.

Landcost: $3400*. Includes quality hotel lodgings,
transport, specially selected guides, all entrance tickets,
workshops with authentic healers, all breakfasts, and most

Not included, is round-trip airfare from your home to
Cusco (via Lima), interior Peru airfare, airport tax, tips,

Who are Howard,
Gloria, and Diana?

Howard Blumenfeld, Ph.D.,
received his doctorate in Psychology and is a licensed Marriage
Family Therapist in California. He has specialized in the field
of self-regulation and stress reduction since 1977.
Gloria Kamler, M.A., is a holistic educator and health
practitioner who has worked with pain and stress relief for 30
years, offering a range of hands-on therapies and mindfulness
meditation instruction.
Diana Shimkus, LCSW is a
licensed Social Worker practicing in California. She began
teaching Mindfulness in 1996. Diana teaches mindfulness in a
variety of settings including: hospice, corporate organizations,
community-based agencies, hospitals and schools.

Howard, Gloria, and Diana
have been teaching the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
program for the past thirteen years. They trained under the
direction of Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D., the founder of the MBSR
program from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
With gratitude, the leaders acknowledge their teachers: Shinzen
Young, Thich Nhat Hnah, Ajahn Amaro, Ezra Bayda, and Joko Beck.
Howard, Gloria, and Diana are dedicated to living mindfully. It
is an integral part of their professional and personal life.
They are grateful to share their experience and understanding of
mindfulness practice and sincerely hope all of their work helps
